Swimming

Swimming

I want to swim in the deep end.

Not that I'm a fan of donning my bathers but you've got to make yourself vulnerable, that's part of the deal.

When you swim in the deep end you have to work hard to keep your head above water.

In the shallow end life is easy... Or so we think.

We can relax and enjoy the water without too much effort.

I've spent most of my life in the shallow end.

It's quite a popular place to swim.

Sometimes we take a little swim out of our depth, if for no other reason than to remind us how lucky we are to swim in the shallow end.

Sometimes we feel like it's a nice idea to throw a few floaty rings in the deep end, for those people who live in the deep and can't get out.

But, as I said, I like the deep end.

In the deep end when you get tired of struggling to stay afloat you hang on to someone else for a bit... They don't mind.

In the deep end we like to party, life is short.

God seems to like the deep end, but I guess he would, he  is the water, and he loves watching us swim and feel the water around us.

I recently bombied into the deep end, not too gracefully.
The pull of the shallow end is incredibly strong.
It's feels safe.

But I want to stay in the deep end, it's where God holds me up.
